Noxious Weed Infestations in the Newark/Long
Valley CWMA. Of the 17 Points Treated 11 had
No Weeds Present in the 2006 Season. 6 Points
of Leafy Spurge were Treated Totaling 1.04 Acres.

In 2006 NDOT Treated 49.78 Acres of Noxious
Weed Infestations NDOT Right-of-Ways Passing
Through the Newark/Long Valley CWMA.
Species Treated were Spotted Knapweed, Diffuse
Knapweed, Whitetop, and Musk Thistle.
