The Tri-County Weed Control Program started through a collaboration of White Pine, Lincoln
and Nye Counties, Nevada. University of Nevada Cooperative Extension Area Specialist, Robert
Wilson, coordinated the establishment of the first non-taxed based, comprehensive noxious
weed control program in the West.
