Spotted Knapweed Project

Project:  In 2005 DOW
AgroSciences donated chemical
for a two acre test plot of Spotted
Knapweed on Quadra Mine
property near the town of Ruth.  
The chemical used was
Aminopyralid or Milestone.  The
application was provided by
Tri-County Weed Control in
cooperation with Ruth CWMA and
Quadra Mining Corporation.  In
2006 we will be able to determine
the success of the treated location
and are anticipating good results.
